Raquel Osorno, PsyD, DBSM

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine, serving as a member of the Sleep Health and Insomnia Program (SHIP) and the Sports Psychology team. I also serve as a research clinician and clinical supervisor in the Stanford University CoPsyN Sleep Lab. I have 12 years of experience providing CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), the gold-standard for chronic insomnia, and am credentialed by the Board of Behavioral Sleep Medicine.

My approach is client-centered, meaning treatment is tailored to your specific needs and life circumstances, rather than strict adherence to a treatment manual or protocol. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have complex medical and psychiatric histories or who are interested in tapering off of sleep medications. We will work collaboratively to come up with a treatment plan that is personalized to your specific sleep goals. I provide compassionate treatment to clients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
