Stephanie Dorsey

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have been in the mental health field for 11 years and providing psychotherapy for 8 years. I provide individual therapy via Telehealth to adults in California experiencing insomnia, nightmares, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, addictions, and life transitions. I primarily use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in therapy sessions and have completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia.

CBT-I will help you learn about sleep and address behaviors that perpetuate sleep problems. EMDR can be used to treat the negative memories and beliefs associated with insomnia or other memories causing distress and impacting your mental health. I believe therapy is a collaborative process in which we will work together to identify treatment goals and create a personalized treatment plan.

I accept insurance and I am currently in network with Medicare, some Medi-Cal plans, Blue Shield of California/Magellan, Anthem Blue Cross California and others.
